IT Technician

D-ICE Engineering is a deep-tech company founded in 2015 in Nantes. Our mission is to address three major challenges in the maritime sector: reducing the carbon footprint, enhancing safety at sea, and promoting clean energy production. To achieve this, we rely on a diverse range of expertise, including multiphysics simulation, scientific software development, marine engineering, and advanced navigation systems.

Today, the company has approximately 40 engineers and PhDs specializing in hydrodynamics, applied mathematics, robotics, control systems, and software engineering.

In 2024, D-ICE successfully raised €6 million in funding, marking a significant milestone in accelerating the commercialization of high-impact solutions for the maritime industry, thereby contributing to a more sustainable and decarbonized future.

We are looking for an IT Technician to ensure the proper functioning and optimization of our IT infrastructure, serving the company and the various technical teams. You will be responsible for:

• Management and maintenance of the IT equipment
• Administration of continuous integration servers and virtual machines
• Configuration and supervision of the local network (routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, VPN)
• Technical support for users (installation, troubleshooting, assistance)
• Implementation and continuous improvement of IT procedures

• Education:
  • Bac+2 to Bac+3 in IT (BTS, DUT, Licence Pro)
• Skills:
  • Strong system administration skills (Windows, Linux)
  • Experience in server management (physical and virtual)
  • Proficiency in networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, VLAN, router and switch configuration, Wi-Fi)
  • Familiarity with virtualization tools (VMware, VirtualBox, or equivalent).
  • Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) for automation
  • Awareness of cybersecurity best practices
