Senior Business Developper
D-ICE Engineering is looking for a Senior Business Developer who is passionate about the maritime sector, with more than 7 years of experience. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, leading a network of business partners and managing contracts in an innovative environment. A strong interest in technologies and experience in the marine/offshore sectors are a plus.
About us
D-ICE Engineering is a deeptech created in 2015 in Nantes. It aims to contribute to 3 major challenges in the maritime environment:
- reducing its carbon footprint
- improving safety at sea
- producing clean energy
To achieve such ambitious targets, D-ICE has developed expertise on:
- multiphysics and multi-body modeling and simulation of marine operations
- the development of advanced scientific software marine engineering and knowledge of wind-powered vessels
- the development of advanced on-board control and navigation systems
Today, the company brings together a team of around twenty engineers and PhDs, with multidisciplinary expertise bringing together hydrodynamics, applied mathematics, robotics and control, and software engineering and systems engineering.
About the position
AAfter several years of research and development, the company has successfully put on the marketseveral products. In collaboration with our general direction and the technical teams, you will be incharge of multidisciplinary tasks including, with evolving responsibilities :

- Competitive analysis/intelligence and identification of sales opportunities in our core marketsfor our different products & services
- Develop and continuously improve global sales strategies
- Contribution of business development activities follow-up, tools (CRM, etc.) and offerings
- Develop and animate a network of business partners (distributors, representatives, businessproviders, etc.)
- Propose and implement promotion and lobbying action plans
- Full-cycle offers management together with technical managers & general direction
- Management of sales administration requirements (clearances, etc.) and contractmanagement (IP/variation orders/etc.)
- Participation in trade shows / events and company representation
Required Skills
Passionate by the ocean and the maritime world, you have more than 7 years of experience in sales & business development
- MSc Degree (In Engineering or Business)
- Excellent communication, presentation skills
- Excellent level of English
- Versatility, responsiveness and sense of priorities
- Excellent relational and writing skills
- "geek"/tech-savvy
Ideally you already have an experience in a startup-type environment and in the maritime/offshore sectors.
