Senior Project Manager

D-ICE Engineering is a deeptech created in 2015 in Nantes. It aims to contribute to 3 major challenges in the maritime environment:

• reducing its carbon footprint
• improving safety at sea
• producing clean energy

To achieve such ambitious targets, D-ICE has developed expertise on:

• multiphysics and multi-body modeling and simulation of marine operations
• the development of advanced scientific software marine engineering and knowledge of wind-powered vessels
• the development of advanced on-board control and navigation systems

Today, the company brings together a team of around twenty engineers and PhDs, with multidisciplinary expertise bringing together hydrodynamics, applied mathematics, robotics and control, and software engineering and systems engineering.

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Consultancy and customer success department. Involved in a highly-skilled team, you will contribute in the management of our consultancy activity and especially our WASP performance studies (aiming to evaluate potential benefits of sail propulsion systems and weather routing). In particular, you are the favourite interlocutor between the sales department, clients and study engineers. You take the lead of project planification, follow up and meetings during entire projects. With a technical background in general engineering, you are passionate about the oceans and aim to involve yourself in a company developing innovative products and services to develop clean and renewable energies and improve safety and security at sea.

Passionate by the ocean and the maritime world, you have ideally an experience in a startup-type environment or in the maritime/offshore sectors.

• High-school of engineering or Master’s degree / PhD in General Engineering or similar
• Excellent skills in project management (GANTT, workload planning, etc.)
• Excellent communication, presentation skills
• Excellent level of English
• Versatility, responsiveness and sense of priorities
• Excellent relational and writing skills
