Administrative & Finance Officer

D-ICE Engineering is a deeptech created in 2015 in Nantes. It aims to contribute to 3 major challenges in the maritime environment:

• reducing its carbon footprint
• improving safety at sea
• producing clean energy

To achieve such ambitious targets, D-ICE has developed expertise on:

• multiphysics and multi-body modeling and simulation of marine operations
• the development of advanced scientific software marine engineering and knowledge of wind-powered vessels
• the development of advanced on-board control and navigation systems

Today, the company brings together a team of around twenty engineers and PhDs, with multidisciplinary expertise bringing together hydrodynamics, applied mathematics, robotics and control, and software engineering and systems engineering.

As part of its development, the structure must strengthen its structure and you will be fully involved. Attached to the Management, you will be responsible for all the classic missions of a CFO & among others:

FINANCE

• Development of financing plans and participation in the company’s strategy (fundraising, external growth, etc.)
• Analysis and evaluation of the different markets
• Preparation and monitoring of management dashboards
• Preparation of annual closings and consolidated accounts
• Link with the accounting firm
• Invoices management
• Periodic tax returns & monitoring (VAT, CVAE, IS, CFE, etc.)
• Creation and monitoring of budgets, company financing files

ADMINISTRATIVE

• Management of insurance contracts, telephone operators, etc.
• Paper and dematerialized archiving
• Development of tools and procedures related to the operation of services (monitoring of activities, reporting, etc.)
• Human ressources
  • Payroll preparation
  • Management of employment contracts
  • Management of leaves and absences
  • Mutual follow-up
  • Establishment and monitoring of the training plan
• Monitoring of various transversal administrative files
