Virtual Regattor [internship]

D-ICE Engineering is a deeptech created in 2015 in Nantes. It aims to contribute to 3 major challenges in the maritime environment:

• reducing its carbon footprint
• improving safety at sea
• producing clean energy

To achieve such ambitious targets, D-ICE has developed expertise on:

• multiphysics and multi-body modeling and simulation of marine operations
• the development of advanced scientific software marine engineering and knowledge of wind-powered vessels
• the development of advanced on-board control and navigation systems

Today, the company brings together a team of around twenty engineers and PhDs, with multidisciplinary expertise bringing together hydrodynamics, applied mathematics, robotics and control, and software engineering and systems engineering.

The company is developing numerous systems and software to enhance the efficiency and the navigation of ships. The main objective of this internship is to promote the capabilities of our developments by competing in Virtual Regatta.

• Automatisation of weather conditions analysis
• Automatisation of weather routing
• Development of an “A.I” able to autonomously connect to the site and update the controls
• Test & Deployment of the solution
